Every
year, we Ilokanos celebrate the Kannawidan Festival which is based
from our traditions, culture and beliefs. In the last week of January
and first week of February, we celebrate it. Many Ilokano culture and
traditions highlight the celebration and there’s a lot of kind of
local delicacies that will sell during this affair. For me it is good
that we are celebrating this Kannawidan every year because we putting
our past in the present. This is an effective way of understanding
our own beginnings so that we can truly say that we are moving
forward towards our dreams.
